Ish is headed by Michael Hirschorn, formerly the director of Programming for VH -1 one where he was instrumental in leading the development for The Hogan Family series to breaking the color barrier with Flavor Flav. Mary Aloe producer and the Aloe Entertainment team’s partners are AMPM, owned by Vito Bruno, and Media Place CEO, Scott Kushner. Mary Aloe and Aloe Entertainment help develop the show following Speedy and his Mother, as well as the handful of wonderful crazy characters that make up a much extended family in NYC. In true Puerto Rico style, there is love, crazy passionate vibrato and amazing cooking. A close knit family with its star at the heart of it. Noel “Speedy” Mercado has been in US major radio for 23 years and his show, along with his partner Luis Jimenez, have the most successful Latino based radio show in America, as well has crossed over to mainstream, often beating Howard Stern in the ratings. Mary Aloe producer and Aloe Entertainment, along with its partners, will follow the life and times of Speedy looking for love at 48 years old, as he still lives at home with his feisty outspoken truck driving and expert cook, 70 year old mom, also known as DON Carmen.
